The year is 2499 and in the Star Trek universe, much has changed. No more is there a Klingon Empire, a Romulan Empire, a Dominion, a Cardassian Empire, a United Federation of Planets. Now the known universe is ruled with an iron fist by the Romulan Federation, a body made up of the Romulan Empire mixed with "members"(mostly conquered races) from all over the known universe. Against them stand the Federation Resistance Alliance, an organization composed of humanity and thirteen other races dedicated to freeing the universe from Romulan tyranny. And between the two stands the Ferengi-Borg Association, a merchant and scientific concern (made up of the Ferengi and the Borg belonging to Hugh's collective) hoping to make a huge profit in latinum and research off the war. The Federation Resistance Alliance has taken its best and set them on five ships, each one named after a ship lost in a battle with the Romulan Federation. The F.R.A.'s hope is that these ships can act as a weapon against the Romulans to destroy their confidence in themselves. Thus, officially, these ships were not destroyed in that battle, but merely needed extensive repairs. Their crews and the highest-ranked in the F.R.A. know the truth, however, and to that end, these ships are classed together as the Ghost Squadron. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

The Ghost Squadron Simming Group can be found on Yahoo! in the Yahoo! Clubs section. When you get there, just do a search for Ghost Squadron and you'll find us. Currently we have one sim ready to go, the U.S.S. Enterprise-H, commanded by a character of mine, Commodore Robert Newman. Sign up for it if you want to become a crew member on the ship that continues the legacy of Kirk and Picard. It will sim on Yahoo! at a time and date which will be set later. As for other sims, our second, which I believe will be an e-mail sim, is currently being worked on. We also have several open sims, the total number coming to eight with five Federation Resistance Alliance ships, two Romulan Federation, and one Ferengi-Borg Association ship (hey what can I say, they paid a good amount of latinum.) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
